The Archives what we did: Celebrate Hallowe’en at Ravenstar

Warning: this event is only for the brave! We will guide you through our spooky trails where you can join our blazing bonfire, share your scariest ghost story, create music to call on the spirits, snack on some delicious nibbles and hot cider. Please wear your costume if you are inspired.

What we did - Forage in the Forest

The event included gourmet seasonal appetizers, a selection of local beers and our iced tisanes finished off with an assortment of irresistible Harvest Moon desserts. Be surprised at who you met cooking or pouring or serving at various locations on the trail. Price for the event is $50 per person or $40 if you are a member.

What have we done?

Mothing Night: Explore the nocturnal magic of moths, the hidden pollinators of the night. Immerse yourself in an experience where you can simply observe and appreciate the elegant and intricate beauty that moths have to offer. Field ecologist Tyler Miller will guide this event. He has studied and documented over 500 species of moths on the Bruce Peninsula and will provide 3 illuminated viewing stations for introduction to moth ecology, identification and simple documentation.
